Use coconut oil in place of olive oil which turns into a transfat when heated.


Before measuring honey, grease the measuring spoon or cup with oil or butter, it will slide out rather than leaving a gooey mess.


Purchase cheese in bricks instead of shredded. Packaged shredded cheese has added chemicals to keep it from sticking together.


Make meals fun and pleasing to the eye.  One way to do this is to deck the table with linens and pretty decorations.  To find fun ways to fold napkins get a book on, napkin origami.  There are several available and it is a fun relaxing way to be creative for all ages.
